What is it: In Mode’s Morpheus8 treatment is a minimally invasive microneedling with radiofrequency solution for full face and body rejuvenation. On its own, microneedling provokes a healing response in which new collagen is produced. With Morpheus8’s radiofrequency technology, the device prompts tissue remodeling to include thickening and tightening of the skin. This leads to a remarkable improvement in skin quality, tone, texture,and tightness. Depending on the desired results, Morpheus8 also has a fat loss component for stubborn areas.

Who it’s for: Patients looking to improve their skin and contours without surgical intervention. An ideal candidate is between 30-55 with mild but visible signs of aging including sagging skin, mild jowls, fine lines, small fat deposits, and general skin laxity. To qualify for Morpheus8, you must be healthy, not smoke, and have no significant medical conditions.

Where it’s used: Morpheus8 is FDA approved for treating the face, neck, chest, abdomen, arms,
knees, legs, and buttocks.

How often: Depending on the individual’s needs and areas treated, typically 2-5 sessions spaced 3 -6 weeks apart are needed for maximum efficacy. A treatment plan will be discussed with your provider during a consultation.

What to expect: Typical down time is 1-6 days and depends on energy level used and treatment depth. Patients can expect mild redness, bleeding, or bruising depending on area treated and intensity of treatment.

When will I see results from Morpheus8?

It takes anywhere from 25-50 days depending on your age for remodeled cells of the dermis to reach the epidermis and start to show results. During the first 1-2 months post treatment, your skin will be remodeling and resurfacing deep into the layers of tissue. After just one Morpheus8 treatment, you can expect to see results in your skin for up to three months. However, results are cumulative, so the more treatments you have, the better your results will be.

Unfortunately, pain is anticipated. HoweverSDBotox works with you to help make you as comfortable as possible during your procedure. We use a combination of oral medications, strong topical numbing cream to the area being treated, and Pro-Nox (laughing gas) to help alleviate discomfort and anxiety. All of these medications are safe to use as indicated at the discretion of your provider. You will be safe to drive home post procedure.

Morpheus8 and Vivace are both treatments that utilize microneedling with radiofrequency. Although they both utilize this technology, there are some key differences. Vivace was designed to target wrinkles, sagging skin, and fine lines in the face and neck. Its needle depth can go as deep as 3.5 mm, which provides optimal results in these areas. Morpheus8 technology utilizes needle depths up to 7mm, with RF energy levels reaching 8mm, which makes it an ideal treatment for not only face and neck, but body as well. You can also add platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or exosomes post treatment for both of these treatments for superior results and more minimal downtime.
